The program

The Minneapolis School of Anesthesia offers a thirty-six month program in Nurse Anesthesia. It is operated by a Board of Directors and includes clinical activities at several major Twin Cities hospitals and other facilities outside the immediate Metro area. Each student will rotate through multiple clinical sites during the program, including pediatric, rural, obstetrics, and independent practice.

Admissions

Graduates earn their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Concentration in Nurse Anesthesia. The Doctor of Nursing Practice with Concentration in Nurse Anesthesia is a cooperative program between the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia and Metropolitan State University. Graduates are prepared to practice in a wide variety of settings and to utilize diverse methods of administering a safe anesthetic.

Our location

Situated in the heart of a thriving medical region, Minneapolis School of Anesthesia enjoys the advantages of several facilities providing students with vast clinical experiences. The institutions that provide clinical experiences are located throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
