About Minneapolis & St. Paul

The Twin Cities, also known as Minneapolis–Saint Paul, is a metropolitan area in the Upper Midwestern United States centered around the confluence of the Mississippi, Minnesota and St. Croix rivers in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is commonly known as the Twin Cities after the area's two largest cities, Minneapolis, and Saint Paul.

 

With a combined population of over 3.6 million people, the Twin Cities is the 16th largest metropolitan area in the United States. The area is home to a diverse economy, with major industries in healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and technology. The Twin Cities are also a major center for arts and culture, with world-renowned museums, theaters, and orchestras.

The Twin Cities are a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and visit. With its beautiful lakes, parks, and forests, the area offers a great quality of life. The Twin Cities are also a great place to raise a family, with excellent schools and a variety of activities for children and adults.
